Financial Aid Appeal Form for 2021-2022 Academic Year

Financial aid offers are partially based on the information submitted as part of the FAFSA, which uses income and tax information that may not accurately reflect a family's current financial situation. We also understand that there may be a number of other factors affecting a student's ability to finance their education not readily apparent by the FAFSA.

Therefore, Carlow University provides students and families with an opportunity to appeal their financial aid offer. This process allows the student to submit pertinent information about their situation, which a committee will then review to determine if additional assistance is appropriate and possible. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee that additional aid will be offered.

Students MUST have a valid FAFSA on record as well as a financial aid offer issued by Carlow University before an appeal will be entertained. When completing the form below, you must include the student's ID number and the date of the most recent offer letter.

In most instances, you will hear a response to your financial aid appeal within 7-10 business days. Note that additional information and/or documentation may be requested.
