Carlow University's study abroad office was founded in 1995; and to date we have sent students to every continent except Antarctica. Study abroad affords students the opportunity to engage in a unique, credit-worthy learning experience and to develop as global citizens.

An opportunity to enhance their undergraduate studies, the University encourages all students to explore the option to study abroad. Study abroad provides students a chance to explore first-hand the language, history, and people of another land and, in the process, gain a competitive edge in the employment marketplace. Study Abroad Office assists students in study abroad options available:

• Study Abroad third party providers
• Non-Carlow University programs
• Carlow Sponsored programs

The office is on campus to help assist students in exploring these three options and choose a program which suits their needs and interests.
