- Reasons for seeking graduate study in the specialty you have selected
- The strengths and skills you will bring to the graduate program

4. TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION: These letters should appraise your academic, professional, and/or personal qualities. At least one of the letters should be from a person who can attest to your aptitude for graduate work/leadership. NOTE: The application for the MS In Professional Counseling program requires three letters.

5. OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS: Request official transcripts from all degree-granting institutions as well as any institutions where graduate courses were completed. 6. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
Submit results from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to Graduate Admissions Carlow University, 3333 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
7. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMS:
- M.Ed. in Art Education: Demonstrate studio competencies via portfolio review by Art Education faculty
- Instructional Technology Certificate/Certification: Pre-requisite: Introductory computer science (e.g. IM101 Introduction to Application Software at Carlow) or equivalent computer experience
8. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR NURSING PROGRAMS:
- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
- Current license as a registered nurse from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Current nursing liability insurance coverage at $1,000,000/$3,000,000
- Ability to meet both university and clinical agency health requirements
- Successful completion within the last six years of an undergraduate course in statistics (for RN-MSN & MSNL programs) and a graduate course in statistics (for HHAP program)
9. INTERVIEW: After application is complete, a personal interview will be scheduled with a member of the admissions committee.
